OK, so maybe I have not become an internet superstar. However someone was kind enough to comment on my second post. Wouldn't you know it...they were trying to sell me something.

Today I had the balls to ask Larry Ellison for a $15,000-20,000 dollar loan so I guess I can't be too disturbed about my only comment being a pitch to lower my mortgage rate to -16%, thus lowering my house payment so low that the mortgage company actually pays me to live in the house.

I just wonder what the ratio is of people that see the ads vs those who actually respond. There is a part of me that would like to think that these lame attempts to bastardize a service such as this into making a 3rd party a buck are greeted with a sneer that would make the most hardened of criminals weep like a 5 year old girl who's Barbieā„¢ doll hair was just ripped out by her older brother. However considering that not only do infomercials on television still exist, but the quality of these infomercials, both visually and their sales vernacular, is that of what they were 20 years ago. They wouldn't be making these things if people weren't purchasing this crap.

Here's a guy asking for a loan from a complete stranger bitching about someone trying to make a buck? Not really. Just didn't have anything else to write about...and nothing while's away the idle hours like a big batch of bitching.

I just created accounts on BlogSpot, Xanga, and LiveJournal. I'm going to be an internet superstar!
